Park by the side of the The Oast House where you can unload putting your luggage under the cover of the loggia, four steps lead you to the boot room (but if any of your guests have mobility difficulties there is easier access via the front of the Oast).
The boot room has a cloak room including washbasin and W.C. and access to the garage which is available for storage of luggage also an extra fridge.
Dining Room -on your right enter the spacious dining room with south facing floor to ceiling windows and a chestnut floor from the farm. There is a magnificent table and chairs which seats 8 comfortably.
Kitchen -You then enter a small porch which leads to the superbly equipped kitchen and breakfast room with table and eight chairs. In the kitchen is an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, larder fridge, and separate large freezer. There is a door that leads you to the courtyard and garden.
Hall – In the hall is the wifi modem, payphone and a small settee.
Bedroom 1 – Double bed with chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps and a door leading to the loggia and a bench to sit and watch the sun go down. En-suite walk-in shower, wash basin and W.C.
Bedroom 2 – Is in the roundel enjoying the morning sun with wow views and direct access to the courtyard. This room is fitted with twin beds, bedside table, lamp, chair, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Shower room – Large walk in shower with two benches, washbasin and W.C.
Bedroom 3 – with its high ceiling and oak beams has twin beds, bedside table, lamp, chair, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
All the bedrooms have under floor heating.
The oak stairs lead to a light and airy landing with
built in bookcase and large wardrobe. There is a large selection of DVDs, games and books and a comfy chair – a perfect spot if you want a bit of peace and quiet. Leading off from the landing is the most attractive beamed:
Sitting room – with a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights, a large television with Freesat and DVD and leather armchairs and sofas to relax in.
Bedroom 4 – The Master bedroom is in the top roundel which has a ceiling of birch and exposed oak rafters reaching to the top of the roundel roof, spotlights highlight this stunning canopy. It is fitted with a king size bed, bed side tables and lamps, marble topped wash-stand and chair. Between the bedroom and the en-suite is a chest of drawers. The en-suite bathroom has a separate shower, bath and W.C.
Outside – You can relax in your own secluded garden with plenty of space for the children to play. There are a set of table and chairs on a paved patio where you can sit and savour the wonderful views over open countryside. If you enjoy outside cooking there is a gas barbeque provided for your use.
Please be aware that this is a working sheep/beef farm and the farmyard is not a safe place for children to play. Do not allow them on the farm or in the farmyard unaccompanied. However, if you do have any questions about the farm we do love to talk farming!
